What it is
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound 157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide originally identified from a protective gastric protein. It is one of the most widely studied peptides in tissue-recovery research literature.
How it works
In research models, BPC-157 is studied in pathways related to angiogenesis (notably VEGF-receptor activity), collagen turnover, and gastrointestinal tissue research. Mechanistic research is ongoing.
What researchers explore it for
Researchers have explored BPC-157 in tissue-recovery research, in gastrointestinal research models, and in vascular pathway research.
Safety and interactions
BPC-157 is for laboratory research use only and is not for human consumption. Not medical advice.
